Treatment and Services
ANTIC offers outpatient neurological services to a diverse patient population. There are various treaments and services available to help you heal that Dr. Alarcio may suggest.
Hyperbaric Treatment
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy reduces inflammation. With more oxygen present in the blood system, blood vessels can restrict their flow (vascoconstriction) to damaged tissue and reduce the fluid buildup (sweling or edema) without compromising the higher oxygen levels needed for repair.
Light Therapy
Photobiomodulation (PBM) describes the use of red or near-infared light to stimulate, heat, regenerate, and protect tissue that has either been injured, is degenerating, or else is at risk of dying
Therapeutic Injections
Therapeutic injections include Ceftriaxone injection is given intramuscular (into a muscle). It is something given as a single dose and sometimes given once or twice a day for 4-14 days, depending on the type of infection being treated. Ceftriaxone injection is used to treat sinus infections and Lyme disease problems.
Homeopathy
Homeopathy is an alternative medicine based on the theory of treating "like with like". Homeopathy claims to stimulate healing responses to diseases by administering substances that mimic the symptoms of those diseases in healthy people. The effectiveness of homeopathic preparations is disputed within medical science.

VNS Therapy
Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) is a type of neuromodulation, which is a treatment that alters the activity of nerves. Vagus nerve stimulation involves implanting a device that sends regular, mils pulses of electrical energy to your brain stem through your vagus nerve in your neck.
Nebulizing Treatment
A nebulizer is a small machine that turns liquid medicine into a mist that can be easily inhaled. You sit with the machine and breath in the medicine through a connected mouthpiece or face mask. This allows the medicine to enter the lungs directly.
